It was a morning of bad luck breakfasts. My super sweet little Tatum was being so thoughtful and decided to make me and the kids some hard boiled eggs. The eggs didn't cook quite long enough so when Gavin tried to shell his, it was a gross runny mess. Not really even soft boiled. We threw them away and then had to leave for school. Well when I came home I thought I'd give it another go and boil a couple more eggs. I put them on the stove and proceeded to go about my business. About an hour later I was in the office and I heard a BANG! Thinking the dog was up to mischief, I went to catch Roscoe red handed, and this is what I found. Explosion of hard boiled eggs. very smelly. The water had completely evaporated and scorched the pot as well as the eggs. I even found bits of egg on the opposite side of the kitchen island and blasted up into the oven hood. Dang it.
